Procurement Director – Dubai, UAE | Real Estate Developer

About the Role:

We are urgently seeking an experienced Procurement Director to join a leading UAE real estate developer. This senior position reports directly to the Executive Director and will lead procurement strategy, contract administration, and commercial operations for large-scale development projects. The role demands strong commercial acumen and hands-on experience running procurement across multiple construction workstreams.

Key Responsibilities & Expectations:

The Procurement Director will define and drive procurement strategy, manage contracts and vendor relationships (overseeing negotiation and administration), and lead procurement operations including sourcing, tendering, and bid evaluation for complex construction packages. A critical focus is ensuring governance and compliance with UAE regulatory and corporate policies, while driving cost optimisation and risk mitigation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and drive procurement and commercial strategy across major development programmes.
• Manage contracts and vendor relationships — oversee negotiation, drafting, and administration of commercial agreements.
• Lead procurement operations including sourcing, tendering, bid evaluation, and supplier performance management.
• Ensure governance and compliance with UAE regulatory and corporate procurement policies.
• Collaborate to deliver cost optimisation and risk mitigation for multi-disciplinary development works.

Requirements:

• Must be currently employed within procurement at a UAE real estate developer (mandatory).
• Demonstrable experience in procurement, commercial management, and contracts within real estate development projects.
• Arabic fluency is mandatory.
• Candidates with proven commercial delivery on large projects will be prioritised.
