Purchase Officer – Abu Dhabi, UAE | Al Khalidiya Group

About the Role:

Al Khalidiya Group is looking for a dedicated Purchase Officer to strengthen its Aluminum Fabrication Division in Abu Dhabi. This position requires a proactive professional ready for immediate joining and capable of handling procurement for multiple fabrication projects. The role is essential for sourcing materials like profiles, hardware, accessories, and glass to maintain seamless production flow.

Key Responsibilities:

The Purchase Officer will be responsible for the full procurement cycle, from sourcing and negotiating supplier quotations to preparing purchase orders (POs) and maintaining detailed procurement records. A critical part of the role is collaborating with project, production, and warehouse teams to guarantee timely material availability and monitoring supplier performance and material quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and procure aluminum profiles, hardware, accessories, glass, and related materials for ongoing fabrication projects.
• Request, review, and negotiate supplier quotations to ensure optimal pricing and quality.
• Prepare purchase orders (POs) and maintain detailed procurement records.
• Collaborate with internal teams to guarantee timely material availability.
• Monitor supplier performance, delivery timelines, and material quality standards.
• Maintain and update vendor databases while fostering strong supplier relationships.

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of UAE experience in procurement within the Aluminum Fabrication or Façade sector (mandatory).
• Diploma or Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of aluminum systems, accessories, and the supplier market.
• Experience with purchase management systems and proficient in MS Office.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and coordination abilities.
• Immediate availability is preferred.
