About the Role:

This role is ideal for an experienced Senior Accountant who can take ownership of client accounts and oversee month-end and year-end closing activities. Based primarily in the UAE (REMOTE with occasional client visits in Dubai & Abu Dhabi), you will ensure all financial and tax deliverables are accurate and compliant with UAE standards, serving as a key advisor on VAT and Corporate Tax (CT).

What You Will Do:

The Senior Accountant will oversee a dedicated portfolio of clients, managing all monthly and annual closing processes. Key duties include reviewing and validating accounting reports, VAT filings, CT submissions, and financial statements, as well as providing leadership and training to a small team. Adherence to UAE accounting regulations is paramount.

What You Will Do:

• Review and validate accounting reports, VAT filings, Corporate Tax (CT) submissions, and financial statements.
• Prepare or review financial statements, tax returns, and compliance documents.
• Maintain adherence to UAE accounting regulations and update internal policies.
• Collaborate with management and provide leadership, training, and support to team members.

Must-Haves:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional accounting experience within the UAE.
• Strong hands-on expertise in UAE VAT and Corporate Tax.
• Proven experience preparing financial statements and tax returns.
• Ability to manage and guide a team effectively.
• Valid UAE driving license and personal vehicle (for client visits).
