Job Description / Role
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Oversee the complete day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring flawless execution from opening to closing.
- Team Mentorship: Lead, train, and motivate front-of-house staff to maintain the highest levels of service performance and professional conduct.
- Guest Excellence: Maintain consistent service quality and handle guest feedback proactively to ensure a memorable dining experience.
- Resource Management: Manage staff scheduling, attendance, and peak-hour labor allocation to optimize service efficiency.
- Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to health, safety, and food hygiene (HACCP) regulations.
- Service Coordination: Collaborate closely with the executive chef and kitchen leadership to ensure a seamless flow between the kitchen and the dining room.
🔹 Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager, preferably in a premium or fine-dining setting.
- Cuisine Knowledge: Prior experience with Asian or Chinese cuisine concepts is a strong advantage.
- Leadership: Strong people-management skills with the ability to build and lead a high-performance hospitality team.
- Communication: Fluency in English is mandatory; Mandarin language skills are highly desirable for client engagement.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or a related field.
- Attributes: A passion for service excellence, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced Downtown environment.
