🔹 Key Responsibilities:

  • Pricing & Quotation Management: Negotiate highly competitive freight rates with airlines and shipping lines for air, sea, and land shipments.
  • Database Integrity: Maintain and update a comprehensive pricing database, including all current freight charges, surcharges, and local carrier costs.
  • Account Management: Handle diverse customer inquiries and manage assigned accounts from the initial pricing stage through to booking completion.
  • Sales Support: Provide the sales team with timely and accurate quotations to facilitate business growth and client acquisition.
  • Operational Coordination: Liaise with internal operations teams, overseas partners, and agents to ensure seamless shipment execution and pricing alignment.
  • Trend Reporting: Assist in preparing basic revenue and trend-related reports while contributing to process enhancement initiatives.

🔹 Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in freight forwarding pricing and customer service specifically within the UAE market.
  • Network: Strong existing professional contacts with UAE-based airlines and shipping lines.
  • Location: Candidates must be currently based in the UAE and available for an immediate start.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma holder in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) with a strong aptitude for basic analytical data tasks.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional communication in English, high attention to detail, and a customer-focused mindset.
