Job Description / Role
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- FX Operations Management: Oversee and audit foreign exchange transactions, ensuring accuracy in currency conversions and rate applications.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all financial activities align with the latest UAE Central Bank regulations and international accounting standards (IFRS).
- Financial Reporting: Prepare high-level financial statements, balance sheets, and specialized FX performance reports for management review.
- Risk Mitigation: Analyze market trends and currency fluctuations to provide data-driven insights for hedging and risk management.
- Audit & Governance: Lead internal audit processes for exchange operations, maintaining a robust trail of documentation for government inspections.
- Strategic Advisory: Act as a financial business partner, advising leadership on liquidity management and operational efficiency.
🔹 Requirements:
- Qualification: Must be a Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) from a recognized professional body.
- Experience: Proven practical expertise in Foreign Exchange (FX) operations is mandatory.
- Market Knowledge: A minimum of 2-5 years of professional experience within the UAE is required.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and professional communication skills in English.
- Regulatory Proficiency: Strong grasp of the UAE’s specific financial regulatory framework and tax laws.
- Availability: Immediate joiners currently residing in the UAE are highly preferred.
