Job Description:
We are hiring a Junior Accountant (Receivables) for immediate placement to support our day-to-day financial operations. This role is specifically focused on the accounts receivable lifecycle, requiring a detail-oriented professional who can balance meticulous record-keeping with effective client communication. You will play a vital role in ensuring timely collections and maintaining accurate customer account data.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounts receivable activities and proactively follow up on outstanding payments.
- Prepare accurate invoices, payment reminders, and detailed customer account statements.
- Perform regular reconciliation of customer accounts and resolve any payment discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date financial records, reports, and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate effectively with internal departments and external clients regarding all payment-related matters.
- Assist the finance team with month-end closing procedures and specialized reporting requirements.
- Support the Management team in optimizing collection processes and cash flow forecasting.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related academic discipline.
- 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience specifically in an accounting or receivables-focused role.
- High proficiency in MS Excel and foundational experience with modern accounting software/ERP systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional approach to client relations.
- Excellent organizational abilities and high attention to detail.
- Ability to join immediately or within a very short notice period.
- High level of professional integrity as required by the Human Resources standards of Daimler UAE.
