Job Description:
We are executing a strategic clinical appointment within our central surgical operations division and are seeking a meticulous, compassionate OT Registered Nurse to govern perioperative patient pipelines and direct operating theatre sterile pathways in Dubai. Configured for systematic nursing specialists who possess deep operational command of surgical tool setups and excel at maintaining focus within high-pressure medical rooms, this full-time track focuses on accelerating case turnover speeds, tracking patient monitoring data, and maximizing clinical safety metrics under our integrated nursing management framework.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare operating theatres, arrange specific surgical instruments, and test critical medical equipment prior to clinical procedures.
- Conduct thorough preoperative patient assessments, verify charts, and guarantee complete surgical readiness protocols.
- Maintain strict infection control parameters and preserve absolute sterile field conditions across all surgical sites.
- Assist primary surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multi-disciplinary scrub teams actively during active operations.
- Monitor patient vital signs continuously during procedures and respond immediately to any sudden physiological changes.
- Maintain highly accurate, audit-ready perioperative nursing documentation and regulatory clinical records.
- Collaborate closely with internal recovery room units and post-anesthesia squads to ensure smooth patient handovers.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or a matching equivalent medical qualification from an accredited college; must hold an active, valid Registered Nurse license (DHA eligibility or license is highly preferred).
- Proven professional operational history leading a surgical desk or operating theatre nursing portfolio, explicitly managing complex scrub or circulating nurse duties inside a recognized healthcare institution.
- Advanced technical data literacy with extensive practical proficiency deploying electronic medical record (EMR) systems, patient monitoring software, and clinical tracking tables inside MS Excel.
- Deep, comprehensive operational knowledge across the following primary functional dimensions:
- Operating theatre protocols, sterile zoning rules, surgical gowning steps, and drape placement practices.
- Sterilization workflows, biomedical infection controls, and hazardous medical waste disposal guidelines.
- Preoperative and postoperative care pathways, patient tracking logs, and recovery monitoring.
- Surgical instrument setup, equipment calibration routines, and meticulous clinical documentation standards.
- Outstanding team-focused habits, strict attention to clinical detail, sharp situational problem-solving traits, and the physical endurance to function perfectly within high-pressure surgical environments.
