General Accountant – UAE | Rushmore

Job Description:

The General Accountant will manage daily financial operations, maintain general ledger accounts under IFRS, perform bank reconciliations, ensure UAE VAT compliance, prepare financial statements, and support internal and external audit activities.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate books of accounts in accordance with IFRS and UAE regulations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, and external consultants.
• Ensure proper documentation and internal controls for all financial transactions.
• Prepare financial reports and provide analysis to support management decisions.
• Perform additional accounting duties as assigned.

🔹 Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT regulations, and accounting software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with high numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience in multi-entity environments is preferred; candidate must be available for an immediate start.
