Company Overview:
A leading industrial and commercial group in the United Arab Emirates specializing in manufacturing, FMCG distribution, and fragrance production with established regional supply chain operations.
Job Description:
The Junior Accountant will handle cost and industrial accounting functions, perform inventory reconciliations, calculate production costing, maintain general ledgers, and support UAE VAT and Corporate Tax compliance in Ajman.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Handle day-to-day accounting transactions, reconciliations, and financial documentation.
- Perform industrial and cost accounting activities, including production costing and cost tracking.
- Maintain accurate inventory accounting records and monitor manufacturing-related financial processes.
- Prepare financial reports and ensure compliance with company accounting procedures.
- Support VAT and Corporate Tax calculations, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
- Work with ERP and accounting systems to maintain accurate financial data.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities while meeting reporting deadlines.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of practical accounting experience (with experience across at least two companies in the past four years).
- Mandatory Arabic language proficiency.
- Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, cosmetics, or perfume production sectors preferred.
- Solid expertise in cost accounting, inventory tracking, production costing, UAE VAT, and Corporate Tax laws.
- Experience with Phoenix Accounting System or SAP ERP is a strong advantage.
- Immediate availability to join within a maximum of 2 weeks.
