Job Description:

The Junior Accountant will support daily accounting operations, financial reporting, VAT compliance, and cost control activities. Working within the finance and engineering management divisions, the ideal candidate will handle accounts payable/receivable, ledger reconciliations, and budgeting operations.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
• Support inventory accounting and cost-control activities.
• Assist with VAT preparation and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with internal departments regarding financial matters.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

🔹 Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a Related Field.
• 1–2 years of accounting experience in the UAE (construction industry experience is an advantage).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and accounting software.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and UAE VAT regulations.
• Male candidates only; preference given to candidates on a visit visa or cancelled visa.
• Strong analytical and organizational abilities with the capacity to meet strict deadlines.
