Job Description:

The Assistant Procurement Officer will handle material sourcing for interior fit-out projects, negotiate pricing and payment terms with vendors, coordinate with project and design teams, and manage purchase orders to ensure on-time site deliveries.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

  • Source, negotiate, and purchase fit-out materials including joinery, MEP items, finishes, furniture, and other project requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors in the UAE fit-out industry.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders according to project schedules and budgets.
  • Review supplier quotations, negotiate pricing, payment terms, and ensure cost-effective procurement.
  • Coordinate with project managers, site teams, and design departments to identify material and equipment requirements.
  • Track deliveries, ensure timely supply to project sites, and resolve procurement-related issues.
  • Maintain updated supplier databases, pricing records, and procurement history.
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and project specifications.
  • Monitor market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards.

🔹 Requirements:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of procurement experience in the interior decoration, fit-out, or construction industry is mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of fit-out materials, finishes, MEP items, and UAE-based supplier networks.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP, and procurement software systems.
  • Excellent negotiation, organizational, and vendor management skills; immediate availability and valid UAE driving license preferred.
