Company Overview:

Alserkal Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join its Finance team in Dubai, offering strong experience in financial reporting and multi-entity accounting.

Job Description:

The Senior Accountant will oversee core accounting functions across multiple entities, manage month-end closing activities, and contribute to group consolidation processes within an ERP environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage month-end closing activities, including accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, and bank and intercompany reconciliations.
• Review the general ledger and reconcile sub-ledgers, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory, and fixed assets.
• Ensure VAT accuracy and support tax compliance across multiple entities.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, variance analysis, and annual budgets.
• Develop management reporting packs for senior leadership.

Requirements:

• 5–7 years of accounting experience, including 3–5 years in a General Ledger or Senior Accountant role.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CA, CPA, or ACCA professional certification.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and UAE VAT compliance.
• Proficiency with ERP systems; Odoo experience is a strong advantage.
