Job Description:

The Technical Engineer will manage technical coordination, prepare shop drawings and joinery details, resolve MEP clashes, and support site execution for luxury fit-out projects.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and coordinate shop drawings, joinery details, and as-built drawings.
• Review design drawings, specifications, and BOQs to identify discrepancies and missing information.
• Coordinate architectural, interior, MEP, and joinery drawings to resolve clashes before execution.
• Prepare technical submittals, material submissions, and RFIs while tracking approvals and resolving outstanding comments.
• Coordinate technical requirements with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Verify site measurements and existing conditions before finalizing drawings for production.
• Support material quantity take-offs and provide technical clarification to Procurement and Estimation teams.
• Issue approved drawings and technical instructions to site and factory teams.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure installations comply with approved drawings and project specifications.
• Identify technical issues and recommend practical solutions in coordination with the Project Manager.
• Maintain drawing registers, revision records, approval logs, and technical documentation.
• Prepare as-built drawings and assist with project handover documentation.

🔹 Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Interior Design, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3–4 years of relevant interior fit-out experience with mandatory UAE experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications; Revit knowledge is an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of fit-out materials, finishes, joinery detailing, and installation methods.
• Ability to accurately interpret drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
• Experience preparing shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs, and consultant approvals.
• Working knowledge of MEP coordination and UAE authority/building management requirements.
• Excellent communication, organizational, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
