Job Description:

The Junior Accountant will assist the finance department with maintaining financial records, managing AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and supporting VAT compliance in a fast-paced environment.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Record daily accounting entries and maintain accurate financial transactions.
• Manage invoices, receipts, payments, purchase records, and sales documentation.
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities.
• Reconcile bank statements and company accounts regularly.
• Follow up with customers regarding outstanding payments and assist with supplier account reconciliations.
• Support UAE VAT calculations and preparation of VAT returns.
• Maintain organized accounting records and support month-end closing activities.
• Coordinate with internal departments and financial teams to align finance operations.

🔹 Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• 1–2 years of accounting experience (UAE trading experience preferred).
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles, AP/AR, and bank reconciliations.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and financial record keeping.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience using Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or ERP software.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Inventory, stock accounting, or WPS/payroll process experience is an advantage.
