Job Description:
The Dialysis Technologist will prepare and operate hemodialysis equipment, monitor clinical treatment parameters, uphold strict infection control standards, maintain patient medical records, and collaborate with nephrology management and nursing teams to deliver optimal patient care.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Operate, monitor, and calibrate hemodialysis machines and specialized renal treatment equipment safely.
- Prepare dialysis machines, fluid lines, dialyzers, and treatment stations prior to patient clinical procedures.
- Monitor vital signs and treatment parameters throughout hemodialysis sessions, reporting abnormalities immediately.
- Enforce rigorous infection prevention measures, sterilization protocols, and clinical safety guidelines.
- Perform routine cleaning, disinfection, and basic maintenance troubleshooting on dialysis equipment.
- Maintain comprehensive, accurate patient treatment records, logbooks, and clinical progress reports.
- Handle and dispose of biohazardous medical waste in full compliance with healthcare environmental standards.
- Liaise with nephrologists, clinical nurses, and department staff to deliver coordinated patient treatment.
- Adhere strictly to Ministry of Health (MOH) policies, clinical protocols, and UAE regulatory standards.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree (BSc) in Dialysis Technology, Renal Dialysis Technology, or a closely related field.
- Valid MOH License or active MOH Eligibility Letter is mandatory for candidates.
- Prior clinical experience working within a hospital dialysis unit or specialized renal center is preferred.
- Solid expertise in hemodialysis procedures, equipment operation, and technical troubleshooting.
- Profound understanding of infection control protocols, medical waste disposal, and UAE MOH regulations.
- Strong patient care skills, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a clinical healthcare team.
