QHSE Officer – Mussafah, Abu Dhabi, UAE | JIC

JIC is a major industrial catering and facility support services company in Abu Dhabi, delivering food service management, institutional catering, and camp facilities operations across the United Arab Emirates.

Job Description:

The QHSE Officer will oversee health, safety, food hygiene, and environmental compliance, implement HACCP protocols, conduct internal quality audits, maintain ISO documentation, and collaborate with operational management to maintain safety standards on a new project in Mussafah.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and enforce compliance with Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) policies across catering operations.
• Implement HACCP protocols, Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS), and kitchen hygiene inspections.
• Conduct periodic internal quality audits, risk assessments, and assist with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 certification standards.
• Maintain comprehensive QHSE registers, incident logs, audit reports, and health compliance records.
• Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and food hygiene training to catering and kitchen personnel.

🔹 Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Environmental Health, Safety Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in a catering, food services, or hospitality environment in the UAE.
• Strong practical knowledge of HACCP guidelines, Food Safety Management Systems, and internal auditing practices.
• Good communication skills in both English and Hindi.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and digital auditing tools.
• Candidates currently residing in the UAE and available for an immediate start are preferred.
