Job Description:

The Junior Accountant will manage client bookkeeping in QuickBooks, perform reconciliations, and assist with UAE VAT filing in RAK. Find additional openings on our accountant jobs portal.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate bookkeeping records for diverse corporate clients using QuickBooks Online.
• Perform bank reconciliations and manage accounts receivable and payable ledgers.
• Assist senior accountants with VAT return documentation and Corporate Tax schedules.
• Prepare draft financial reports, balance sheet schedules, and audit files.
• Coordinate with clients to collect required financial documents and bank statements.

🔹 Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of practical accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• Hands-on working knowledge of QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel.
• Solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles and bank reconciliations.
• Prior experience working in UAE accounting firms is a strong advantage.
• Strong English communication skills with high numerical accuracy.
