Job Description:

The Accounts Assistant will process shipping invoices, manage AP/AR ledgers, perform reconciliations, and utilize Zoho Books in Jebel Ali, Dubai. Explore more finance roles on our accountant jobs portal.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily accounting and financial operations for freight forwarders.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) ledgers.
• Prepare freight invoices and process billing documentation using Zoho Books.
• Perform bank and vendor account reconciliations to maintain accuracy.

🔹 Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• 1 to 2 years of general accounting experience (freight forwarding preferred).
• Working knowledge of Zoho Books, MS Excel, and basic UAE VAT principles.
• Prior UAE work experience is preferred.
