Job Description:

The Junior Counselor will play a key role in supporting students’ emotional and mental wellbeing, offering counseling services and fostering a nurturing school environment that aligns with the school’s educational mission.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions addressing social, emotional, and academic concerns.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and leadership to develop student intervention plans.
• Support students’ personal growth and emotional resilience through structured programs.
• Maintain confidential records and generate periodic progress reports.
• Participate in case meetings and coordinate multidisciplinary interventions.
• Provide crisis support and refer students to external specialists as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Counseling or Psychology (full-time qualification).
• Minimum 1 year of school counseling experience within the UAE.
• Bilingual proficiency – fluent in English and conversational Arabic preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate approach.
• Ability to work collaboratively with educators, administrators, and parents.
