Accountant – Dubai, UAE | Trading / Manufacturing

Company Overview:

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Dubai and oversee the full finance cycle. This role is critical for ensuring accurate financial reporting, robust cash flow management, and overall operational efficiency.

Job Description:

The Accountant will be responsible for preparing comprehensive financial statements, managing working capital, overseeing payables/receivables, and providing financial insights, preferably with experience gained in the dynamic trading or manufacturing sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and finalize monthly financial statements, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports.
• Manage cash flow forecasting and monitor daily working capital positions.
• Oversee credit management, collections, and timely supplier payments.
• Maintain accounts receivable and accounts payable, including reconciliations and aging analysis.
• Prepare management reports and analyze budget versus actual variances.
• Monitor inventory reports and ensure accurate valuation.
• Provide financial insights to support management in decision-making and control improvements.

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the trading or manufacturing sectors.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management.
• Proficient in MS Excel and ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Candidates must be currently based in the UAE.
