About the Role:
RMK Experts is seeking an experienced Food Safety Consultant / Trainer to join our professional team in Dubai. This role is ideal for a highly skilled professional passionate about improving food safety standards, conducting rigorous audits, and delivering engaging training within the UAE’s food sector.
Key Responsibilities:
The Consultant / Trainer will deliver specialized training (PIC, HACCP), conduct second-party food safety audits against HACCP and ISO 22000, develop compliance documentation, and investigate foodborne illness incidents for clients across the UAE and GCC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive and engaging training sessions on food safety, including PIC, HACCP, and Internal Audit programs.
- Conduct second-party food safety audits based on HACCP and ISO 22000 standards across various sectors.
- Develop and implement HACCP and ISO 22000 systems, documentation, and manuals for clients.
- Investigate foodborne illness incidents, perform root cause analysis, and support clients in corrective action plans.
- Create, update, and improve training materials and technical resources related to food safety.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years’ operational experience in the food industry.
- At least 3 years of experience in food safety auditing, consultancy, and report preparation.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Microbiology, Veterinary Science, or Food Technology.
- Certified Lead Auditor for ISO 22000.
- Certified Trainer (ToT) and valid Municipality Approvals for Dubai and Sharjah.
- Certified in Food Safety Level 4 and HACCP Level 3 (minimum).
- Possess a valid UAE driving license and willingness to travel across the Emirates.
