Accountant / Senior Accountant – Dubai, UAE

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Stewardship: Maintain accurate books of accounts and manage the general ledger with high precision.
• Full-Cycle Accounting: Handle daily transactions, payments, and expenses alongside month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Reconciliation & Reporting: Prepare regular bank/cash reconciliations, financial statements, and detailed budget forecasts.
• Tax Compliance: Prepare, review, and file UAE VAT returns; ensure readiness for UAE Corporate Tax requirements.
• Investor Relations: Maintain investor contracts and support ongoing coordination with stakeholders and investors.
• Audit Coordination: Liaise with internal and external auditors, banks, and other regulatory bodies to ensure transparent financial reporting.
• AP/AR Management: Supervise supplier invoice processing and monitor receivables to ensure healthy cash flow.

🔹 Requirements:

• Education: MBA in Finance, Inter CA, or CMA qualification is required.
• Experience: Mandatory UAE experience (1–2 years for Accountant level; 2–3 years for Senior Accountant level).
• Technical Mastery: Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, Zoho, CRM) and Advanced MS Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas).
• Regulatory Knowledge: Solid understanding of UAE accounting standards, VAT laws, and Corporate Tax regulations.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical ability, excellent time management, and the capacity to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
• Advantage: Prior experience in Investment Companies or supporting high-level audit activities will be prioritized.
