E-Commerce Accountant – Dubai, UAE | Lutfi Group

Job Description:

The E-Commerce Accountant will reconcile marketplace settlements, track payment gateway transactions, manage inventory COGS accounting, process returns and chargebacks, handle VAT filings, and generate financial reports for Lutfi Group in Dubai.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Record and reconcile daily transactions from online sales channels.
• Perform reconciliations for payment gateways such as PayTabs, Telr, Stripe, and Amazon Pay.
• Reconcile settlements from marketplaces including Amazon, Noon, and Carrefour Marketplace.
• Monitor refunds, returns, cancellations, and chargeback transactions.
• Reconcile bank accounts and payment gateway statements regularly.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and cost of goods sold (COGS).
• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Process supplier invoices and customer refund transactions.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and prepare VAT reports.
• Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, customer service, and e-commerce teams.
• Assist with budgeting, audits, and year-end financial closing activities.
• Maintain accounting records using ERP systems.

🔹 Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• 3 to 5 years of total accounting experience, including at least 2 years in e-commerce or digital retail accounting.
• UAE work experience and solid understanding of IFRS and UAE VAT compliance.
• Hands-on experience with Amazon Seller Central, Noon Seller Lab, Shopify, or WooCommerce platforms.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Power Query) and proficiency in ERP software.
• Proven ability to reconcile high-volume payment gateway settlements, chargebacks, and inventory COGS.
