Job Description:

The Accountant will manage daily financial transactions, handle accounts payable and receivable, perform bank reconciliations, and support monthly financial closing processes. Working within the finance and accounting department, the ideal candidate will ensure accurate record-keeping, maintain ledger balances, and collaborate with logistics operational teams for efficient workflow management.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting transactions.
• Prepare invoices, receipts, and financial reports.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain general ledgers.
• Ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Assist with monthly closing activities and financial reporting.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams.

🔹 Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Mandatory prior accounting experience in the cargo, freight forwarding, or logistics industry.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and specialized accounting software systems.
• In-depth understanding of accounting principles, ledger management, and bank reconciliation.
• UAE work experience and immediate availability will be considered a distinct advantage.
• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational capabilities.
