Junior Accountant – Dubai, UAE

Job Description:

The Junior Accountant will manage daily financial transactions, handle accounts payable and receivable ledgers, process bank reconciliations using Tally, maintain financial records, and support finance management with construction cost tracking routines.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Handle day-to-day accounting transactions, general ledger entries, and financial bookkeeping operations.
• Maintain organized company financial records, physical filing systems, and digital accounting documentation.
• Prepare sales invoices, payment vouchers, petty cash entries, and employee expense reports accurately.
• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) workflows for sub-contractors and vendors.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations, statement verification, and maintain ledger balances.
• Coordinate with suppliers, site vendors, and internal project teams regarding invoicing and payments.
• Ensure precise data entry into Tally ERP software while upholding corporate record-keeping standards.

🔹 Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or Part-Qualified ACCA / CA credentials.
• 1 to 2 years of hands-on accounting and bookkeeping experience in the UAE.
• Prior experience working within a building contracting or construction company is highly preferred.
• Operational proficiency in Tally accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Solid understanding of general accounting principles, AP/AR processes, and bank reconciliations.
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities with high numerical accuracy.
• Must reside in the UAE with immediate availability to join.
