Job Description:

The Accountant will manage full-cycle Accounts Payable/Receivable, operate Odoo ERP financial systems, perform bank reconciliations, and compile financial reports under financial management in Sharjah. Explore further corporate accounting and finance roles on our management jobs portal.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) ledgers, vendor invoices, and customer receipts.
• Perform bank reconciliations, cash book auditing, and maintain updated Statements of Account (SOA).
• Execute invoicing, store inventory accounting, purchase order verifications, and general ledger journal postings.
• Utilize ERP software (Odoo) for continuous financial tracking, data entries, and system reconciliations.
• Prepare comprehensive monthly financial reports utilizing advanced Microsoft Excel functions (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
• Coordinate with procurement, store managers, and external auditors during periodic financial reconciliations.

🔹 Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of progressive corporate accounting experience.
• Solid understanding of AP, AR, general ledger principles, and financial statement generation.
• Advanced MS Excel skills; prior experience with Odoo ERP or similar enterprise financial software is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and numerical capabilities; candidates currently residing in the UAE are preferred.
