Senior Scientist – Adhesives & Sealants | Umm Al Quwain, UAE | Anchor Allied Factory LLC

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Product Formulation: Develop and optimize high-performance solvent-based and water-based adhesive and sealant formulations.
• Polymer Leadership: Lead the technical development of silicone, acrylic, epoxy, and advanced MS polymer-based systems.
• Innovation Pipeline: Drive R&D initiatives to enhance product quality, environmental sustainability, and cost efficiency.
• Material Evaluation: Rigorously evaluate new raw materials and integrate chemical improvements into existing manufacturing processes.
• Production Scale-up: Manage the transition of successful laboratory trials into full-scale industrial production phases.
• Technical Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve complex chemical and mechanical challenges during the product development lifecycle.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with production, quality assurance, and procurement teams to maintain operational excellence.

🔹 Requirements:

• Education: Ph.D. or M.Sc. in Polymer Science, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering is mandatory.
• Expertise: Minimum 10 years of hands-on R&D experience specifically in adhesives or sealants.
• Technical Depth: Deep knowledge of solvent-based and water-based adhesive technologies and their industrial applications.
• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to manage complex technical documentation and utilize advanced analytical equipment.
