Civil Estimation Engineer – Sharjah, UAE | AL Ghanim International

About the Role:

AL Ghanim International is seeking a meticulous and dependable Civil Estimation Engineer in Sharjah to join their Estimation Department. This role is key in supporting tendering activities, from quantification through to final commercial submission for major civil projects across the UAE.

Responsibilities:

• Review and evaluate tender documents to derive accurate pricing for all direct works.
• Coordinate with quantity surveyors to ensure full quantification and accuracy of the Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
• Prepare pricing for direct works and collaborate with other departments to assemble and finalise commercial and technical proposals.
• Maintain well-organized documentation and ensure compliance with tender specifications.

Requirements:

• 5 to 10 years’ experience within the Estimation function of a reputable civil contracting company (mandatory).
• Solid understanding of civil construction activities, tender processes, and cost estimation principles.
• Very good proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with PlanSwift and Candy is desirable.
• Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
