Job Description:

The Registered Midwife will provide comprehensive clinical care and support to mothers before, during, and after childbirth, ensuring safe delivery practices, patient education, and high-quality maternal support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide professional midwifery care and support to mothers before, during, and after childbirth.
• Educate and counsel expectant mothers regarding pregnancy, childbirth, and newborn care.
• Provide immediate newborn care and support post-delivery procedures.
• Monitor fetal development and identify potential complications.
• Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and healthcare teams to deliver quality maternity care.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Midwifery or Nursing with Midwifery specialization.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a UAE Labor & Delivery Unit.
• Strong knowledge of maternity care practices and newborn care.
• Excellent communication and patient counseling skills.
• Western qualification and experience assisting with water births are an added advantage.
