Job Description:
The Health & Safety Director will lead HSE frameworks, oversee TBM/SEM tunneling risks, and manage safety compliance for major water infrastructure projects in Dubai.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement enterprise-wide HSE strategies for major water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
- Lead safety governance across large-scale utilities, TBM/SEM tunneling operations, and mega-construction sites.
- Ensure complete compliance with international HSE frameworks and local municipal safety standards.
- Provide strategic direction, mentorship, and oversight to project HSE teams and contractors.
- Establish risk assessment standards and lead incident investigation procedures.
🔹 Requirements:
- Minimum 20 years of total professional safety experience, with at least 5 years in senior executive roles.
- Extensive background in water, wastewater, or major tunneling (TBM & SEM) projects.
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent international safety certification is required.
- Proven Middle East mega-project experience is highly desirable.
- Exceptional leadership, stakeholder communication, and governance skills.
