About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Asst. Manager Contracts for a leading client in the construction industry, specializing in high-rise residential and mixed-use developments in Dubai. This senior Management role demands expertise in contract management, procurement, and a strong understanding of FIDIC Red Book conditions. Candidates must currently be available within the UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

The Asst. Manager Contracts will manage pre-contract activities, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiation of contracts. A key focus will be overseeing contracts and procurement processes for high-rise residential and mixed-use projects, ensuring compliance with UAE construction and real estate regulations. The role requires the ability to apply in-depth knowledge of FIDIC Red Book and manage contractual risk effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage pre-contract activities including drafting, reviewing, and negotiation of contracts.
  • Oversee contracts and procurement processes for high-rise residential and mixed-use projects.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE construction and real estate regulations.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge and practical interpretation of FIDIC Red Book conditions.
  • Provide guidance and support in contract administration and risk mitigation.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, demonstrating excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum 8–12 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in the UAE construction or real estate sector (mandatory).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Familiarity with local construction laws and industry practices.
  • Proven ability to manage complex contracts and lead negotiations effectively.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills in English.
