Job Description:

We are executing a strategic professional recruitment campaign on behalf of a market-leading civil infrastructure client and are seeking an experienced, operationally authoritative Site HSE Manager to govern workplace risk mitigation pipelines and direct safety engineering pathways across our integrated engineering jobs networks in Abu Dhabi. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee, direct, and implement comprehensive health, safety, and environmental management frameworks across active heavy construction zones.
  • Ensure total site project compliance with corporate loss-prevention guidelines, client safety directives, and federal UAE environmental regulations.
  • Monitor field safety execution trends continuously, performing data-driven hazard evaluations and implementing effective risk control barriers.
  • Conduct thorough, routine physical site inspections and emergency preparedness audits to diagnose field vulnerabilities and recommend immediate corrective actions.
  • Promote a rigid, proactive safety culture and behavioral risk prevention mindset among multi-cultural project teams, site engineers, and subcontractors.
  • Prepare, validate, and maintain highly accurate corporate HSE performance dashboards, incident reports, environmental records, and training logs.
  • Coordinate seamlessly with construction project directors and operations leads to ensure the highly secure execution of heavy lifting and structural activities.
  • Govern comprehensive accident investigation processes, root cause analysis tracks, and immediate post-incident safety response procedures.

🔹 Requirements:

  • Graduate Academic Qualification from an accredited higher education institution, backed strictly by a mandatory valid NEBOSH Level 6 Diploma or International Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety along with core NEBOSH IGC credentials.
  • A minimum of 10 to 15 years of verified, high-performance professional history leading safety departments, managing infrastructure risk frameworks, or auditing industrial job sites within the civil construction sector, demonstrating extensive hands-on expertise governing large-scale roads, utilities, and premium villa developments. Must be physically based inside the UAE with immediate operational readiness in Abu Dhabi; Indian nationality is highly preferred to align with current project workforce demographics.
  • Advanced digital workspace data literacy with sharp capabilities structuring risk matrix indices, building incident tracking sheets, and filtering complex safety database logs inside Microsoft Excel.
  • Deep, comprehensive operational knowledge across the following primary functional dimensions:
    • Health, Safety, and Environmental management practices, hazard identification and risk assessment (HIRA) models, and behavior-based safety tools.
    • Construction site safety regulations and local municipality compliance parameters, OSHAD frameworks, and heavy machinery clearance rules.
    • Risk assessment procedures, root cause analysis tracks, confined space protocols, working at heights parameters, and lifting plan verifications.
    • Emergency evacuation structures, environmental noise and dust monitoring practices, soil contamination prevention, and waste logistics rules.
    • Subcontractor safety verification models, tool-box talk auditing systems, corporate liability reporting lines, and record archiving controls.
  • Outstanding corporate communication, reporting, and team leadership talents, sharp organizational troubleshooting habits under high-pressure industrial challenges, absolute attention to structural safety details, and an exceptionally authoritative, professional demeanor.
