Job Description:
The Pricing Manager will oversee rate procurement, develop competitive freight strategies, negotiate ocean line, airline, and transport tariffs, manage profit margins, and collaborate closely with sales leadership and operational management to optimize conversion rates. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end freight pricing strategies across Air Freight, Ocean Freight (FCL/LCL), and Road Transportation.
- Procure competitive buy rates and negotiate contracts with shipping lines, airlines, overseas agents, and local hauliers.
- Prepare comprehensive, accurate, and competitive freight tenders and customer RFQ responses in a timely manner.
- Analyze margin performance, yield optimization, and market trends to maximize commercial profitability.
- Support the sales department with instant pricing turnarounds, market intelligence, and customized freight solutions.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 4 years of solid freight forwarding experience within the UAE logistics market.
- Demonstrated expertise in multimodal freight pricing, rate procurement, and commercial margin analysis.
- Strong carrier network and relationships with ocean liners, airlines, land transport fleets, and international agents.
- Excellent negotiation skills, analytical capabilities, and speed in handling rate requests.
