Prepare for an interview with confidence

Preparation helps you explain your experience clearly while deciding whether the opportunity fits your goals.

Understand the opportunity

Review the company’s official website, the role description and the interview instructions. Confirm the time, location or video link, and the person you expect to speak with.

Prepare examples from your work

  • Choose relevant examples of solving a problem, delivering work and collaborating.
  • Explain the situation, your responsibility, the action you took and the result.
  • Be clear about your own contribution.
  • Do not invent experience or disclose confidential information from past employers.

Prepare your questions

Ask about the role’s priorities, how success will be measured, the team and the next steps. Use the conversation to understand the work, not only to give answers.

Check the basics

  • Test your camera, microphone and connection for a video interview.
  • Have the role description and a copy of your CV available.
  • Plan travel time for an in-person meeting.
  • Never pay an interview or recruitment fee.

Preparation supports a clear conversation; it cannot guarantee an interview result or job offer.
