About the Opportunity:

Coop House, an Italian-Mediterranean dining concept, is expanding in Dubai. We are seeking an experienced Commis Chef with specific expertise on the Grill and Fryer stations to join our growing culinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

The Commis Chef will execute food preparation and cooking tasks for their assigned station, specializing in the operation of the grill and fryer, ensuring speed, consistency, and adherence to high food quality and hygiene standards under the guidance of senior chefs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate the grill and fryer stations efficiently and safely to prepare dishes according to recipe specifications.
  • Assist in general food preparation (mise en place) and kitchen operations.
  • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization in work areas, adhering to all safety and operational standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth service during peak hours.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience as a Commis Chef or similar role with proven hands-on experience on the grill and fryer.
  • Strong work ethic, punctuality, and passion for delivering quality food.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen environment.
  • Candidates must be available for face-to-face interviews in Dubai.
