About the Role:
CrumbFree is expanding our pastry kitchen in Abu Dhabi and looking for a dedicated Junior Pastry & Bakery Chef to join our full-time team. This role is perfect for professionals who take pride in crafting beautiful baked goods and desserts, with a keen interest in developing expertise in gluten-free baking.
Key Responsibilities:
The Junior Pastry & Bakery Chef will manage the production of high-quality pastries, breads, and desserts, ensuring strict consistency, quality control, adherence to hygiene standards, and collaboration with senior chefs in a dynamic, innovative bakery focused on gluten-free alternatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce high-quality pastries, breads, and desserts according to recipes and production schedules.
- Maintain consistency in taste, texture, and presentation of all bakery items.
- Assist in recipe execution and adapt preparations for gluten-free alternatives when required.
- Work closely with senior chefs to support daily production and special event orders.
- Uphold kitchen hygiene standards, ensure proper storage of ingredients, and follow food safety protocols.
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years’ hands-on experience in pastry and bakery production is required.
- Currently based in Abu Dhabi and available for full-time employment.
- Solid technical skills in pastry, bread-making, and dessert preparation.
- Basic understanding or willingness to learn gluten-free baking techniques.
- Detail-oriented, creative, and eager to grow in an innovative kitchen environment.
