Job Description:

The Safety Officer will manage day-to-day site safety operations, execute regular inspections, enforce HSE compliance, deliver safety inductions and toolbox talks, complete risk assessments, and investigate site incidents to maintain a safe work environment.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor daily site activities and ensure compliance with HSE requirements.
• Conduct regular site safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
• Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe working practices.
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety induction sessions.
• Prepare safety reports and maintain HSE documentation.
• Assist with risk assessments and method statement reviews.
• Report and investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses.
• Follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and workers.
• Promote a strong Zero Accident and Safe Work Culture.

🔹 Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
• NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent HSE certification preferred.
• Relevant experience in UAE construction projects.
• Good knowledge of construction safety practices, risk assessments, and HSE regulations.
• Strong communication, observation, and HSE reporting skills.
