Job Description / Role
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Oversight: Manage daily VAS workshop activities (Polishing, Tinting, Ceramic Coating) to ensure maximum efficiency and quality.
- KPI Management: Drive and monitor key performance indicators including Sold Hours, Productivity, Efficiency, and Net Promoter Score (NPS).
- Sales Penetration: Collaborate with sales and service departments to increase the uptake of VAS packages among new and existing vehicle owners.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, coach, and monitor technician performance, ensuring strict adherence to 5S workshop standards.
- Resource Planning: Coordinate with Procurement to maintain inventory levels and identify new VAS products to expand the business portfolio.
- Technical Development: Identify skill gaps and nominate technicians for specialized training programs to enhance operational capacity.
🔹 Requirements:
- Experience: 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in an automotive workshop or specialized VAS environment.
- Technical Literacy: Proficiency in Dealer Management Systems (DMS) such as Autoline and standard MS Office applications.
- Education: Vocational training or relevant educational qualification in Automotive Engineering or Business Management.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate culturally diverse technical teams in a high-pressure environment.
- Process Knowledge: Strong understanding of 5S lean workshop methodologies and automotive quality control processes.
- Mindset: Result-oriented with excellent communication and organizational skills.
