About the Role:

Sama American Private School, a well-established institution following the US curriculum in Sharjah, is recruiting an enthusiastic and committed Biology Teacher to join the faculty (position available starting January 2026). We seek an educator who brings solid subject knowledge and a passion for science education.

Key Responsibilities:

The Biology Teacher will guide secondary students through biology concepts, utilize inquiry-based instruction and practical lab activities, design standards-aligned lessons, and contribute to a supportive learning environment.

• Deliver engaging, standards-aligned lessons aligned with the US curriculum.
• Maintain strong classroom management and effective communication.
• Assess and evaluate student learning and progress in the subject.

What We’re Looking For:

• Relevant teaching qualifications and a Degree in Biology or Education/Science.
• Familiarity or prior experience with US curriculum schools is preferred.
• A genuine passion for inspiring and nurturing students.
• Strong classroom management and effective communication skills.
