General Finance Accountant – United Arab Emirates | Faham Group

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain GL reconciliations to ensure ledger accuracy and timely month-end closes.
• Compile financial reports and supporting schedules for management review and statutory requirements.
• Provide VAT support, including filing assistance, VAT reconciliations, and ensuring tax compliance.
• Manage fixed asset records—capitalization, depreciation schedules, and periodic reviews.
• Support treasury operations, including cash reconciliations, bank management, and payment follow-ups.
• Ensure IFRS compliance across accounting treatments and financial reporting.
• Work with ERP systems (Odoo preferred) to maintain accurate transactional records and improve workflows.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Strong accounting fundamentals with practical experience in GL, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Prior exposure to ERP systems (Odoo is highly desirable).
• Familiarity with VAT regulations applicable in the UAE.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work independently.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred; ACCA/CPA certification is an advantage.
