Role Description:
Take ownership of accounting functions within a trading company. This hands-on role involves managing daily transactions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting audits and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain ledgers and record all financial transactions accurately.
- Process invoices, payments, and receipts; manage accounts payable/receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare budgets, financial statements, and management reports.
- Assist with audit preparation, tax documentation, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure timely financial reporting.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience (UAE experience preferred).
- Proficiency in bookkeeping, AP, and AR.
- Experience preparing financial statements and budgets.
- Knowledge of accounting policies, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Proficient with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in trading or retail industry is an advantage.
