Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Azure Cloud Engineer for a critical onsite position in Abu Dhabi. This role is ideal for experts in designing, migrating, and securing enterprise-level Azure environments. You will be at the forefront of cloud modernization, moving legacy systems to high-performance architectures while ensuring global security standards. The client provides full visa sponsorship for qualified international candidates.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Design and architect enterprise-grade Microsoft Azure cloud solutions.
- Lead large-scale Azure cloud migration, modernization, and transformation initiatives.
- Implement Azure Landing Zones aligned with Microsoft Cloud Adoption and Well-Architected Frameworks.
- Automate cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, ARM, and Bicep.
- Design hybrid connectivity solutions including ExpressRoute, VPN, VNET Peering, and Private Endpoints.
- Build and manage robust CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins.
- Architect container-based platforms using Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Implement enterprise cloud security using Entra ID, RBAC, WAF, and Defender for Cloud.
- Establish comprehensive monitoring and observability using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
- Design disaster recovery, backup strategies, and multi-region failover solutions.
- Optimize cloud expenditure using FinOps best practices and Management tools.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior engineering teams.
🔹 Requirements:
- Minimum of 12 years of overall IT experience with 10+ years dedicated to Azure cloud engineering.
- Deep hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure’s full suite of enterprise tools and services.
- Proven experience in large-scale cloud migrations and high-level architectural design.
- Willingness to relocate and work onsite in Abu Dhabi.
- Valid passport (Visa sponsorship is provided by the client).
- Arabic-speaking professionals are highly preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills within a high-pressure enterprise environment.
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder Management and cross-team collaboration.
- High level of professional integrity and a proactive approach to Human Resources and team development.
