Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Abu Dhabi. This role is fundamental to our group framework, requiring a professional who can oversee financial operations, ensure accurate IFRS reporting, and maintain compliance for management and government review. You will be responsible for annual budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and project costing across our trading and manufacturing entities. We are looking for an individual with a strong foundation in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and a proactive approach to cost control. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the annual budget and monthly profit/loss projections to meet management and strategic goals.
  • Finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict compliance with IFRS standards and UAE regulations.
  • Liaise with the Human Resources department for monthly payroll processing via the WPS system and HRMS consistency.
  • Track and forecast cash flow while preparing treasury reports to ensure adequate liquidity for Abu Dhabi operations.
  • Utilize digital Information Technology and financial models to develop management dashboards and analytical reports.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and the Federal Tax Authority (FTA) to ensure 100% compliance.

🔹 Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce from a recognized institution.
  • Mandatory Professional Certification (CPA, CA, ACCA, CMA, CIA, or CFA).
  • 5 to 7 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in a Senior Accountant role within the UAE.
  • Strong background in management-level financial planning, project costing, and cash flow forecasting.
  • Professional background in education or training regarding UAE financial regulations and bookkeeping principles.
  • Immediate availability and current residence in (or willingness to relocate to) Abu Dhabi.
