Job Description:
We are currently expanding our engineering team and seeking an experienced AutoCAD Draftsman for our operations in Al Quoz, Dubai. This role is fundamental to our technical framework, requiring a professional who can produce accurate structural drawings for management, project approvals, and production review. You will be responsible for translating complex engineering concepts into detailed drafts, ensuring all technical plans meet strict quality standards. We are looking for an individual with a strong foundation in Structural Steel Detailing and a proactive approach to technical documentation. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Produce accurate structural drawings and production drafts to meet management and project specifications.
- Prepare detailed approval drawings for engineering and construction projects in Dubai.
- Liaise with the Human Resources and engineering teams to ensure drawings align with site requirements and production capabilities.
- Maintain high accuracy in all technical documentation to ensure 100% data integrity throughout the project lifecycle.
- Utilize digital Information Technology tools and AutoCAD software (with Tekla as an advantage) to optimize drafting efficiency.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma, or Certificate in Engineering, Drafting, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience specifically in structural steel detailing.
- Strong background in management of production drawings, approval workflows, and technical design standards.
- Professional background in education or training regarding AutoCAD and structural drafting principles.
- Ability to demonstrate operational excellence and a detail-oriented approach in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Must be based in the United Arab Emirates; immediate joiners in Dubai are strongly preferred.
