Job Description:
We are currently hiring a Junior Accountant with strong retail and supermarket experience to join our finance team in the UAE. This role is fundamental to our financial framework, requiring a professional who can manage daily accounting entries and billing activities for management and performance review. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial data, supporting reconciliation activities, and assisting in overall reporting processes. We are looking for an individual with a strong foundation in Retail Accounting Principles and a proactive approach to routine administrative tasks. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting entries to meet management and retail accuracy standards.
- Handle invoicing, billing, and payment processing for high-volume supermarket transactions.
- Liaise with the Human Resources and finance teams to perform regular bank and account reconciliations to ensure 100% data integrity.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and summaries to support strategic decision-making.
- Utilize digital Information Technology tools and Advanced MS Excel to maintain proper financial records and documentation.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related academic discipline.
- Mandatory professional experience in retail or supermarket accounting.
- Strong background in management of daily accounting operations, invoicing, and reconciliation.
- Professional background in education or training regarding accounting software and MS Excel proficiency.
- Ability to demonstrate operational excellence and a detail-oriented approach to financial data entry.
- Experience in home-country retail accounting will also be considered for qualified candidates in the UAE.
