Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join a finance department in Dubai. This role is fundamental to the organizational framework, requiring a professional who can support day-to-day accounting activities for management and financial review. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, supporting AP/AR functions, and assisting with monthly closing activities. We are looking for an individual with a strong foundation in Accounting Principles and Financial Processes and a proactive approach to reconciliations and documentation maintenance. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records and update the general ledger to meet management and reporting targets.
• Support fiscal integrity in Dubai, ensuring 100% data integrity in invoices, vouchers, and payment receipts.
• Liaise with the Human Resources department and internal teams to support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
• Assist with bank reconciliations, monthly financial reporting, and VAT compliance work when required.
• Utilize digital Information Technology tools and accounting software to optimize financial documentation and professional audit reporting.

🔹 Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance plus a relevant professional Accounting Certificate.
• 1 to 2 years of professional experience; fresh graduates with strong technical knowledge will also be considered.
• Strong background in management of financial documentation, Microsoft Excel, and daily transaction tracking.
• Professional background in education or training regarding UAE VAT regulations and basic accounting principles.
• Ability to demonstrate operational excellence, high attention to detail, and a commitment to accuracy in a professional environment.
• Excellent organizational skills with the capability to support a fast-paced finance team in Dubai.
