Job Description:
We are executing a strategic architectural design appointment within our central project engineering division and are seeking a meticulous, detail-oriented Draughtsman – AutoCAD to govern advanced technical drawing pipelines and direct precise fit-out documentation pathways in Dubai. Configured for ambitious drafting specialists who possess deep operational command of structural shop drawings and excel at transforming concept layouts into highly detailed fabrication sheets, this full-time track focuses on accelerating design approval speeds, auditing spatial dimension data, and maximizing cross-functional site alignment under our integrated corporate management framework.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare highly detailed, scaled shop drawings, joinery fabrication layouts, and precise as-built records utilizing computer-aided drafting tools.
- Develop complete technical drawing sets for commercial offices, residential spaces, retail outlets, and multi-story interior fit-out environments.
- Interpret complex engineering specifications, structural consultant drawings, material finishing codes, and core interior design concepts accurately.
- Coordinate closely with internal project managers, site engineers, technical consultants, and warehouse production teams to synchronize project changes.
- Ensure absolute accuracy and strict compliance of all engineering schematics with local building rules and master project design criteria.
- Revise, update, and re-issue current blueprints promptly based on direct feedback, site variation reports, and architectural modifications.
- Maintain organized, securely indexed drawing revision logs and digital documentation paths across all active execution stages to avoid field errors.
🔹 Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or a closely matching fully accredited technical design trade discipline.
- Mandatory Technical Credential: Must possess a valid, verified AutoCAD Certification.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of verified professional experience handling drafting desks, architectural detailing, or joinery layout design, explicitly delivering high-precision shop drawings for interior fit-out projects inside the UAE marketplace.
- Advanced technical data literacy with extensive practical proficiency deploying parametric software, multi-view projections, and advanced line-weight formatting layouts inside modern engineering setups.
- Deep, comprehensive operational knowledge across the following primary functional dimensions:
- AutoCAD drafting standards, space planning methodologies, and fit-out construction details.
- Shop drawings compilation, material joinery fabrication methods, and as-built structural verification.
- Familiarity with supplementary modeling tools such as SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, or Photoshop is highly valued.
- Cross-functional project coordination workflows, blueprint annotation standards, and document control systems.
- Outstanding visual analysis habits, strict attention to structural blueprint detail, strong problem-solving traits, and the capacity to balance multiple drawing modification timelines smoothly.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi to collaborate effectively with multi-national project teams, engineering leads, and site production crews.
- Immediate availability or a maximum notification period of 30 days is preferred to facilitate quick deployment to active project teams.
