Junior Accountant – Dubai, UAE | Korax Energy

Job Description:

The Junior Accountant will record financial transactions, process supplier invoices and vendor payments, perform general ledger and bank reconciliations, monitor accounts receivable, assist in month-end closes, and support UAE VAT compliance for Korax Energy in Dubai.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Record and maintain invoices, credit notes, and financial transactions.
• Reconcile vendor statements and investigate payment discrepancies.
• Process supplier payments and maintain accounts payable records.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Prepare general ledger entries and account reconciliations.
• Generate financial reports to support management decisions.
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Ensure compliance with VAT regulations and internal company policies.

🔹 Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Accounting, or an equivalent field.
• 1+ years of practical experience in an accounting or finance support role.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Solid understanding of general ledger reconciliation, AP/AR operations, and UAE VAT rules.
• Strong organizational skills, numerical accuracy, and communication abilities.
