Job Description:

The Junior Accountant will manage financial operations, utilize Odoo Accounting for daily transactions, and support accounts payable and receivable functions for the organization in Dubai.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Process day-to-day accounting transactions using Odoo Accounting.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Prepare and record invoices, receipts, payments, and expense entries.
• Assist with bank reconciliations and account balancing.
• Monitor outstanding customer payments and follow up on receivables.
• Support the preparation of financial reports and accounting statements.
• Maintain accurate records of invoices, purchase documents, and financial files.
• Assist with VAT documentation and related accounting tasks.
• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Coordinate with internal departments regarding invoices, payments, and financial documentation.

🔹 Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline.
• 3–4 years of relevant accounting experience.
• UAE accounting experience will be an advantage.
• Hands-on experience working with Odoo Accounting is mandatory.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial record keeping.
• Good organizational, communication, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Candidates must currently be residing in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of Odoo Accounting modules, UAE VAT regulations, and payment processing.
